Our factory, based in Qingdao, Shandong, China, is designed with optimal features: bright and spacious facilities, modern production methods, and a supportive environment that benefits both employees and the local community.
Maisie’s full-time dedicated team collaborates closely with quality managers at the factory to ensure that all production processes meet stringent standards for quality, environmental care, and safety. Our workforce, with an average age of 40, is 77% women, predominantly from nearby communities. We provide our employees with three daily meals, an eight-hour workday, weekends off, holiday leave, and comprehensive insurance coverage.
Since its inception, Maisie has focused on serving the high-end Caucasian market, and we have more than 100 skilled full-time employees with high output every year. This scale advantage allows us to efficiently create quality hair extensions at highly competitive prices. And as a direct-to-consumer brand, we are able to deliver significant savings directly to our customers
We produce 13 colors of hair extensions, each developed through a rigorous, months-long color-matching process to achieve dynamic tones. All of our hair is ethically sourced through donations, sales, or exchanges. Donors benefit financially from selling their hair, offering them a source of passive income without any physical labor. Many salons also opt to sell hair rather than dispose of it, helping to reduce waste buildup, which contributes to various environmental challenges.
Sustainability is at the core of our values, which is why Maisie hair extensions are packaged in refined, eco-friendly boxes crafted from FSC-certified paper and printed with soy-based ink. These durable, reusable boxes are perfect for storing your extensions and showcase how environmental consciousness and style can go hand in hand.
